Steve Kim @ Alphonse Berber

April 22, 2009

Steve Kim sent me this the other day, just now getting it up.  If you’re in the Bay Area you should check it out! Show runs until June 6th.

The Alphonse Berber Gallery is pleased to announce its new group
exhibition, “You, Me, and Everyone We Know,” opening April 17.

The much anticipated sequel to our inaugural exhibition, “New Nature,”
“You, Me, and Everyone We Know” brings into dialogue nineteen
contemporary artists from as close as Berkeley to as far away as the
country of Georgia.  This international selection of work in a variety
of mediums explores the motif of relationship: the artist’s
relationship to herself, her subject, the viewer, the medium; the
viewer’s relationship to each of these things and to other viewers;
and how all of them coexist in a web of evermore enmeshed social,
ecological, and technological networks.
