Wayne Levin

August 30, 2009

So if you haven’t already heard, it’s hot in SoCal right now. If you’re experiencing it yourself – hang in there, it’ll cool down soon enough. I for one am not looking forward to going back to my apartment tonight – it’s gonna be smoldering.

I’ve been spending most of the weekend either at the beach or in the pool. A watery weekend, just how I like it. It would be awesome to be swimming around with Wayne Levin in Hawaii, though. He only shoots in black and white, and it really changes the whole dynamic of the tropical seascape. His work seems to accentuate the power and violence of the sea. I’m definitely going to try this technique out on my next dive trip.
